Two Cultures, One Perfect Weekend: Ashli & Vash at Solage Calistoga

Some weddings are beautiful. Some are meaningful. And then there are weddings like Ashli and Vash's, where every detail was chosen with such intention that the whole weekend felt like a living, breathing work of art.

Set against the warm spring landscape of Calistoga, their celebration at Solage was a perfect blend of Indian tradition, Western elegance, and Napa Valley luxury. Over 100 guests gathered to witness two people who describe their relationship as fun, honest, and loving, and the weekend delivered on every one of those words.

The Sangeet: Dancing at Dusk in the Vines

The celebration began the evening before the wedding at a nearby Napa Valley winery, where the couple hosted a Sangeet, an Indian pre-wedding tradition filled with music, dancing, and the kind of joy that sets the tone for everything that follows. Ashli wore a stunning QBik design, and the energy of the night made it clear: this was going to be a wedding worth documenting.

The Ceremony: A Tarun Tahiliani Moment

If there was one moment that stopped everyone in their tracks, it was Ashli's entrance in her custom Tarun Tahiliani ceremony gown. The modern Indian designer is known for pieces that exist at the intersection of tradition and couture, and this dress was no exception. Set outdoors at Solage against Calistoga's natural beauty, the ceremony incorporated meaningful Indian traditions in a setting that felt both intimate and grand.

The dominant palette of burgundy, white, and green wove through the florals, the decor, and the details, rich and considered from every angle.

Four Looks, One Weekend

One of the most remarkable things about Ashli and Vash's celebration was the intentionality behind every wardrobe choice. Ashli wore four distinct looks across the weekend — each one perfectly calibrated to the mood of the moment:

Sangeet: QBik — vibrant, celebratory, made for dancing

Ceremony: Custom Tarun Tahiliani — breathtaking, traditional, unforgettable

Cocktail Hour: Enza Costa slip dress — effortless and modern

Reception:V Chapman — elegant, polished, the perfect close to a perfect day

The Reception at Solage

The reception brought the full weekend together, a celebration of two people, two cultures, and a love that started on a dating app during a pandemic and grew into something extraordinary. The guest experience was warm and alive, with family and friends from every corner of their lives gathered in one of Napa Valley's most beautiful settings.
